About Me

I’m Katie, a 26 years old photographer from Denmark working primarily in natural environments. I’m most comfortable outdoors, in open landscapes, around animals, and in spaces that allow for focus and quiet observation. Photography is how I translate that environment into something structured and intentional.

I’m a trans woman, and I’m autistic. Both shape how I move through the world. I tend to notice small shifts in expression, light, texture, and atmosphere. I often register details others overlook, and that awareness shapes how I frame and time my images. I work at a steady pace, I pay attention, and I take the time needed to understand what’s in front of me. That approach carries directly into my photography.

My work is restrained and honest. I focus on natural light, real presence, and unforced moments. I’m less interested in spectacle and more interested in clarity. I look for what feels genuine rather than what feels impressive.

I work intuitively, but not randomly. My process is observant and deliberate. I prefer collaboration over direction, and presence over performance. When photographing people, I aim to create an environment where they don’t feel pushed into something unnatural.

I value authenticity, patience, and respect. I believe depth comes from paying attention, not from adding more.

My work is for people who appreciate subtlety, structure, and emotional clarity without exaggeration. I take what I do seriously, and I approach each project with care and focus. True art is never to be rushed.
